National Coin Week

The 86th annual National Coin Week, April 19-25, is celebrating the 200th anniversary of Abraham Lincoln’s birth and his contributions to history and numismatics. The theme of the weeklong celebration is “Lincoln’s Legacy: A Nation United.”

National Coin Week is sponsored by the American Numismatic Association, the nation’s largest non-profit educational organization dedicated to helping and encouraging people to study and collect coins, currency and related items. The ANA helps its 32,000 members and the general public discover and explore the world of money through its vast array of programs, including educational seminars and conventions, and through its museum, library and publications. For more information about the ANA, call (719) 632-2646 or visit www.money.org.
